there is a difference between love and like. you can love someone and dislike them at the same time.
if you love yourself, then you are willing to seek out the things that you need, and some of the things you would like for yourself.
if I like myself, then I am happy with who I feel that I am, as a package. Usually, if I dislike myself, then I am being very disapproving
of a specific single issue or topic. Funny how that goes. People are too often very judgemental of themselves. I consider myself in that

one of the most practical methods for me, when I am strongly disapproving of myself, is to imagine that SAME topic being true for someone
else. Would I say to this other person what I am saying to myself in such disapproving ways? What would I really say to that person.
So often, I would talk to that other person in a very supportive manner, help her come up with a plan sometimes. Then ask yourself why
you are unable to treat yourself supportively. The answers are revealing. Use those answers to help yourself be kinder with yourself.
Work towards always being kind to yourself. Work towards being your best supportive person for yourself. Everyone has something that they
need to improve, but in this moment you are still perfect. God makes no mistakes.
