@upgraydd Re: Fire Your color selection is good. keep those colors. But, try laying down the orange(s) first, then layer the yellow(s)
@upgraydd on top of the orange. Then, to really give it luminescence, throw a bit of light cream color on top of the yellow.
@upgraydd Also - the palette knife/smudge tool (bottom of list) is great for making that 'plasma' effect of flames.
@upgraydd Experiment with that and see what comes up. I also use a deeper red-orange (applied first, beneath oranges), and a lemon
@upgraydd yellow (applied between canary yellow and light cream layers).
